Objectives of the project:
- inspiring teachers to creativity and making appropriate conditions to inspire learners' creativity
- improving the level of teaching thanks to updating the teachers' skills and methods of teaching
- increasing the students' motivation to learn
- learning more about students social skills and their behaviour
- developing teachers' skills connected with the use of ICT during classes
- to improve the teachers work
In the project take part 11 teachers: the headteacher, the manager of the after school club, the worker of the after school club who also teaches Polish language and organizes music classes in the music club, teachers of the English language, teachers of the young learners - one of them teaches also ICT to children aged 10-12, teacher of the Polish language who teaches also history and has got qualifications to work with children with special needs, psychologist, PE teacher who is also a probation officer.
During the realization of the project there will be 15 foreign mobilities during which the participants will take part in substantive, methodological and psychological courses connected with: teaching methodology of the English language, motivation to learn, using ICT and multimedia in teaching, raising students' self-esteem, ways of coping with conflicts, art therapy, using art as a way to motivate students to learn, team building, working in a group, creativity, being innovative, coaching, using ICT and multimedia in teaching, speaking in public.
All these mobilities will bring a lot of benefits both to the participants of the project and to the school as such thanks to taking these mobiities into account in school plans and programmes, active and conscious sharing the knowledge and experience with other teachers as well as applying the methods and techniques introduced during the courses. The mobilities will have an impact especially on:
- raising English teachers' methodological competences. It will have an impact on improvement of learners language skills. As a result the level of teachers and learners' creativity willl be higher.
-learning more about methods of teaching and upbringing. It will improve students social skills, the quality of teaching nd students' self-esteem
- learning more about the culture of other countries. It will have an influence on the tolerance of other cultures and increase the openess towards other cultures as well.
- learning more about modern technologies and social media and how to use them by teachers and learners
- raising the level of learners' engagement during classes and motivating them to learn
- improvement of the ways in which the teachers cooperate with each other; better student and parent communictation
- dealing with conflicts and agression; preventing conflicts and agression
Thanks to the dissemination of the project teachers from other schools will have the chance to benefit from our experience. Keeping in touch with schools from other countries will certainly last for a long period of time after finishing the mobilities.
